ABOUT OUR PATIENT
This California man received Juvederm 2 years earlier and developed bagginess and a slight blue tint. He originally consulted with Dr. Mabrie in his San Francisco office about eyelid surgery. After examination, Dr. Mabrie recommended dissolving the Juvederm under the eyes and replacing it with Restylane.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN
Some of the filler previously placed was too superficial. Fillers placed in the tear trough area may appear blue if placed just under the skin. I also find that Juvederm can become baggy under the eyes, because it is so soft. We needed to dissolve this filler and place Restylane under the muscle. We also needed to support his cheek skin which was pretty heavy. I also noted some superficial wrinkles etched in his forehead skin.

THE OUTCOME
This patient is shown after 2 rounds of treatment with dermal fillers. He is very satisfied with the results!
