ABOUT OUR PATIENT
I love this case! This woman in her 70s from the East Bay, had long considered getting surgery to narrow her nostrils. She and I had a great talk during a consultation in my San Francisco office regarding Surgical Rhinoplasty, in which we explored options that would get her the amazing results she was after.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN
I performed a Non Surgical Rhinoplasty using Restylane to augment her nasal bridge and tip, combined with an in-office Nostril Reduction Surgery.

THE OUTCOME
A Rhinoplasty at 70! Can you believe it? Her nose looks even better than if she'd had surgery. After years of waiting, she finally gets the great results she's been dreaming about without surgery! What can I say; it's very, very satisfying for me as a plastic surgeon. Cases like this remind me why I love what I do so much.

Let me add that it's a common misconception that people of color are interested in Rhinoplasty purely to change their ethnic appearance. As with other ethnicities, they typically want more tip definition and a stronger bridge, which can usually be accomplished non-surgically.
