ABOUT OUR PATIENT
This San Francisco woman had sustained an injury to her nose as a child and never had it repaired. At the time of injury the surgery was too expensive and was not covered by her insurance. During a visit with Dr. Mabrie for a separate issue, Dr. Mabrie told her about non-surgical options for the nasal tip.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN
The tip appears twisted and asymmetric, because of a concavity on the right side. This type of deformity is mostly visible on one particular angle, in this case the left 3/4 view. The nose has a very irregular contour, making the nose look like that of a boxer. This may be treated with either Rhinoplasty Surgery or in my opinion best treated non-surgically with dermal fillers.

THE OUTCOME
The nose looks better right away. On the day of the procedure, there was some redness present for a few hours. The treatment usually lasts about 6 months.
