ABOUT OUR PATIENT

This patient, a lovely young woman in her 20s, felt insecure about her nose. She didn’t like how it was very full and round at the tip as well as how the very bottom of her nose, the columella, was short and brought attention to her nostrils. In fact, she told us that her flared nostrils had always bothered her since high school. This was her first time doing any sort of treatment to her nose, and she was worried about the outcome looking too different or unnatural.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN

Dr. Mabrie, an expert on both surgical and non-surgical rhinoplasties, assessed the patient’s nose and found her a good candidate for nose fillers. He started by straightening out the bridge, then defined the tip of her nose. Filler was also injected into the columella to balance out the nasal proportions and bring attention away from her nostrils. Treatment was done over several sessions to ensure the best, most natural-looking results.

THE OUTCOME

Our patient LOVED her new nose! She told us she especially adored how natural the results look. Even though filler treatments technically add volume, with proper technique they can create the illusion of a smaller, daintier nose. Nasal filler typically lasts about one year before maintenance is recommended.
