ABOUT OUR PATIENT

Many of our patients come to us looking for minor tweaks to the nose after they’ve already done surgical rhinoplasty. The reason? While surgery can provide major corrections, oftentimes it’s not precise enough to make the nasal bridge completely smooth or the tip quite perfect.

This patient, a man in his early 40s, underwent surgical rhinoplasty years ago due to a genetic nasal deformity affecting his septum bones. However, it still left him with a nose that twisted to his left and a humped nasal bridge. He turned to Dr. Mabrie at Mabrie Facial Institute for a more precise corrective treatment.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN

Dr. Mabrie assessed the patient’s nose and determined he would be a good candidate for non-surgical rhinoplasty. Treatment involved carefully reshaping the nose with dermal fillers. Nose fillers after a surgical rhinoplasty comes with extra risks, so Dr. Mabrie and team took extra precautions to ensure patient safety. Treatment was done over the course of three appointments to ensure the highest-quality results.

THE OUTCOME

Our patient couldn’t believe it–after living his whole life with a nose that twisted to the side, even after surgery, seeing his transformed nose took his breath away! Not only did the treatment successfully straighten out the bridge, but it reduced the appearance of a dorsal hump and corrected asymmetry at the nasal tip. Now his nose looks better than ever!
