ABOUT OUR PATIENT
This patient, a woman in her early 50s, was completely new to fillers and wanted to see what it could do for her face. She was bothered by the jowls at her jawline and her prominent marionette lines, which contributed to a tired, older look.
MFI TREATMENT PLAN
Dr. Mabrie used dermal fillers to contour the patient’s jawline and smooth out the lines on the sides of her mouth. To prevent her lower face from looking bulky or overly angular, he made sure to not overfill the areas. A multi-step treatment also helped create natural-looking results.
THE OUTCOME
There’s just something special about a smooth lower face and a perfectly contoured jawline! With just fillers, Dr. Mabrie was able to hide the jowling of the patient’s jawline without making the lower face seem too wide or masculine. The marionette lines were greatly softened to achieve a youthful look. The patient was more than happy with her results, and she comes back about once a year to keep looking her best.
