Before And After Lip Filler - Subtle Case 384
ABOUT THIS PATIENT
It's unfortunate, but certain corrective surgeries that repair lifelong conditions may also leave unintended cosmetic side effects that can't be ignored. Fortunately, non-surgical dermal fillers are able to resolve these aesthetic issues gently, expediently and discretely.
This San Francisco woman has been a patient of mine for more than a few years now. As with my other long-term patients, we're developed a rapport based in mutual trust. A few months ago, she started asking me questions about her lips. She had just recently had suffered some minor nerve damage due to a surgical procedure to repair her TMJ. Now her lips were asymmetrical, twisting her mouth into a sight frown. Not feeling comfortable living with this, she consulted with me about how to restore her lips into their natural alignment. I was more than happy to help her find a solution.
MFI TREATMENT PLAN
I was so excited to help this patient out with this cosmetic dilemma. Starting off, I told her that dermal fillers would not stop or prevent the twisting of her lips, but they would most definitely help improve their shape. Using three applications of Juvederm Ultra over a short period of time, we restored a sense of balance between her upper and lower lips.
THE OUTCOME
Personallly speaking, I'm glad that we decided that we decided to go with Juvederm Ultra for this treatment. Before, I'd mostly been using Restylane for lip procedures. Now, I don't think I can go back. We're getting incredible results with Juvederm Ultra. Just look at the upper lip. Wow!
