ABOUT OUR PATIENT

It may sound corny, but your lips really do say a lot about you. Even if people aren't fully aware of lips at all times, they notice what they look like on a subconscious level. Think about it. Have you ever met someone whose lips were too thin or too full? Was it distracting to you? Probably. That's why lips are best when they're not too extreme in either direction. Achieving a perfect balance between the two is what I like to help my patient do.

Take this one for example - a nice young woman from Dixon, CA. She stopped by my San Francisco office wanting nicer, fuller lips. Not "duck lips", though. She didn't want to look forced or fake. She wanted to keep their unique shape, which she likened to "a cupid's bow", as much as possible. A dermal filler treatment would definitely help her do this.

All this patient needed was two syringes of Restylane to her upper and lower lip, over the course of a month, to sculpt the kind lips that were just right for her.

THE OUTCOME

She's very happy with the results of her treatments. She even smiles a lot bigger than she used to. (Now that's was we call lip service.)
