ABOUT OUR PATIENT
This long-time patient came in knowing exactly what she wanted. As a model, every aspect of her face is on display in front of the camera. Therefore she likes the expressions in her upper face completely “frozen” so there are no lines or wrinkles visible in her photos. During this visit, she also wanted to increase the height of her top lip even further after having lip filler injected.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN
The patient has a history of heavy eyelids (ptosis). So in addition to eliminating all movement in the upper face as requested, Tiffany, PA-C also used Botox to give the patient an eyebrow lift to minimize her sleepy and tired appearance.

To add more height to the upper lip’s red body without adding more filler, a “lip flip” was performed. Botox was placed to the muscle in the upper lip to relax it and reduce it from curling under so more of the red body is visible with increased height. This is especially apparent when the patient smiles.

THE OUTCOME
This patient is now ready for her close up! Her smooth, wrinkle-free skin and a bright-eyed appearance keep her confident for her photoshoots. While the results of her first lip flip are subtle in pictures, she reported a noticeable difference and will be adding that to her regimen for her regular maintenance treatments going forward.
