ABOUT OUR PATIENT
This young Bay Area woman first dipped her toes into facial rejuvenation with under-eye filler elsewhere, but she wasn’t thrilled with the outcome. After reading reviews about our artistic, anatomy-based approach to non-surgical facial sculpting, she decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Mabrie at our San Francisco office. At her visit, we discussed her goals and took a holistic look at the face—including the under-eye area, nose, and chin—to identify what adjustments could bring everything into better balance.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN
Right away, I knew this would be a fun case. She had a naturally beautiful face with great structure, but there was room to refine and enhance. One of the main opportunities was her lower face—specifically the chin. Chin projection is often overlooked, but it plays a crucial role in facial harmony, especially when we're trying to lengthen and refine the jawline. We also noted some irregularities in her nasal contour that were contributing to asymmetry.

We used Restylane® for under-eye correction, and subtly enhanced her lips. To build and contour her cheeks and chin, I started with Radiesse® for its firm, bone-like quality. As the treatment evolved, we switched to Juvéderm® Voluma™ for additional volume and lift. These adjustments, though small, helped bring focus to her natural bone structure and polish the overall aesthetic.

THE OUTCOME
Her afters are stunning—more balanced, lifted, and softly defined. One of the most striking changes was how much more proportionate her profile became with improved chin projection. Her nose contour is smoother, the under-eye area looks refreshed, and the whole face appears subtly elevated. The best part? She looks effortlessly put-together—even when she’s makeup-free!
