ABOUT OUR PATIENT
This San Francisco woman, in her 30's, had long thought about a chin augmentation procedure. She consulted with Dr. Mabrie to discuss surgical options. During the consultation they also discussed the possibility of a non-surgical procedure. Dr. Mabrie used a saline test to see if she liked the results. She did, so they decided to perform a non-surgical chin augmentation.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN
Because she only needed a small to moderate amount of augmentation, she was actually a great candidate for either surgical or non-surgical chin augmentation. While the surgery only involves an hour of a minimally invasive procedure with a 5-7 day recovery, the non-surgical option is done in 15 minutes, in the office, with essentially no down time. 

Originally, Dr. Mabrie applied Restylane Lyft to the chin and to the tear troughs and cheeks. Today, Dr. Mabrie's uses Juvederm Voluma for her cheekbone and chin augmentation.

THE OUTCOME
The patient and her husband were very happy with the results. She loves her chin! Dr. Mabrie notes, "I like how the frontal view of her face has more of a heart shape now. She was a little 'bottom-heavy' before."
