Before And After Chin Projection Case 1130

ABOUT OUR PATIENT 
This case is a unique one, as the patient this time is a pretty good friend of mine. For as long as I've known him, I'd never noticed anything unusual about his chin. (And believe me, I pay close attention to that kind of stuff.)

Every now and again, however, we couldn't help but notice that certain photos caught him at angles where his chin looked less than strong. For men, a well-defined chin plays an especially important role in looking confident, chiseled and successful in life. So, obviously, I wanted to help my buddy out with a non-surgical chin augmentation.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN
Before we began, he came in for a formal consultation at my San Francisco office, just like all my other patients. On closer examination, we realized that while his chin projected quite well on a profile view, the lower border of it was looking a little, shall we say, thin. This was because of some very mild chin asymmetry, which is precisely why it didn't look so great from certain angles.

I suggested that we round out his chin with Juvederm Voluma, one of my all time favorite go-to fillers for this kind of procedure. Not only does it have a great consistency, it also lasts a very long time.

While we were at it, he also asked if we could do something about the nose, I went ahead and built up its bridge and added more definition to the tip with applications of Restylane, another great dermal fillers.

THE OUTCOME
Take a look at the before photo taken in 2013. I think his features look fantastic after having all of those minor adjustments made. His chin and nose have a much stronger, defined look to them now, which totally matches his alpha male personality. I'm just glad I could help a friend stay beautiful - in a manly way.
