ABOUT OUR PATIENT
This early 40’s female felt that her chin "bounced" when speaking. Upon Injector assessment, it became apparent that she had a hyperactive mentalis muscle, which is responsible for causing dimpling when it contracts.
MFI TREATMENT PLAN
Botox was utilized to relax the overly active muscle, giving the chin a more rounded, fuller appearance. HA Filler was used in addition to Botox to create symmetry and forward projection.
THE OUTCOME
No more bounce! She now experiences a newfound sense of being heard during conversations, as opposed to having others focus on the movement of her chin.
