ABOUT OUR PATIENT

Feeling like she was looking much older than she actually was this Bay Area woman knew she needed a fresh look to match how she felt. After doing a little bit of research online about the possibilities of dermal fillers, she came in for an in-depth consultation at my office in downtown San Francisco to see what her options were.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN

It's very common for most people to experience moderate sagging of cheek skin as they get older, thanks to the law of gravity! I noticed that this patient was dealing with these exact complications, and that her nose had some asymmetry to it. The thickness of her skin and increasing column loss were working together to cause several areas of shadowing, and taking away from the beauty of her face. I knew I could make a more harmonious appearance with the use of non-surgical facial fillers. I applied Restylane to her nose, lips, and underneath her eyes. I also went ahead and used an application of Juvederm Voluma to her cheekbones.

I am really excited about this case. I knew that fillers would address the sagging cheek skin and asymmetry of the nose, making her face more attractive. Fortunately, in spite of her previous experience, she took a chance and let me work with her face and the results came out fantastic!

THE OUTCOME

We're both glad that we were able to work together, because her face ended up looking much more refreshed than it was when she first came in to see me. The results are amazing, and I loved working on this case.
