Before And After Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty After Surgical Rhinoplasty Case 355
ABOUT OUR PATIENT
"Botched operation." As a board-certifies plastic surgeon, those two words have a lot of weight to them. Of course, they fill me with concern and empathy, but they also give me a sense of inspiration. That's because I love helping people who live with cosmetic surgical defects regain their sense of confidence with just a few corrective treatments. That's one of the biggest motivations behind my practice.
This young woman from San Diego stopped by my office in San Francisco to talk about her nose, more specifically, the tip of it. Thanks to an unfortunate history of defective surgeries, it started looking pinched-in and upturned. She wasn't comfortable with that. This contour issue is one that I knew I could fix, and I didn't have to resort to something drastic like surgical Rhinoplasty to do so.
MFI TREATMENT PLAN
This patient has already been researching non-surgical corrective treatments online. In fact, that's how she found me. She'd considered trying out fillers for about half a year before she read some of my advice on RealSelf and decided to schedule a consultation.
We both agree that a gentle application of Restylane would help smooth out any nasal irregularities. So that's what we tried out.
THE OUTCOME
It took three treatments over the course of a year, but it's official: it worked! As you can see, her nose looks much more natural and healthier than it did before. It's so smooth, it's almost like it it's never been touched before.
Because we were able to reverse unwanted effects of a "botched operation" on two, this case will always put a smile on both of our faces.
