When you visit Dr. David Mabrie for facial cosmetic surgery in San Francisco or Pinole, he will carefully evaluate your physical condition, thoroughly discuss your concerns and goals, and provide a complete explanation of your options. All of his consultations are performed in a warm, relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. We will do whatever we can to ensure that your consultation is as productive as possible, but there are some things you can do to ensure you get the most from your appointment.

Preparing for Your Consultation
There are several ways you can prepare for your consultation with Dr. Mabrie in Pinole or San Francisco. Our facial plastic surgery patients can complete registration forms and make financial arrangements. You may also want to research surgical procedures and non-surgical treatments and write down some questions to bring to your appointment.
Appointment Registration
Prior to your appointment, please complete the necessary registration forms:
- Patient Registration
- General Health History
- Patient Questionnaire
- Rhinoplasty Questionnaire (required for rhinoplasty patients only)
If you are unable to complete the forms prior to your consultation, please arrive at your appointment 15 minutes early.
Fees and Financing
The consultation fee is $150.00 and is payable at the time of your appointment. We are happy to accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards as payment. Sorry, but we do not accept personal checks. We will waive the consultation fee for patients who have a treatment or schedule surgery on the day of their consultation.
We are pleased to offer our patients financing with CareCredit and SurgeryLoans.com. They offer flexible payment plans for cosmetic procedures. Cancellation Policy
We have a 48-hour cancelation/rescheduling policy. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 48-hours notice, the fee of $150 still applies. The credit card you provided to secure your appointment will be charged. To reach us after-hours, please call the office and leave a message. We will retrieve your message on the next business day.
Your Consultation
Please plan to spend about an hour with us for your consultation. During that time, Dr. Mabrie will discuss your goals, perform a thorough physical exam of the area of concern, take photographs, perform computer-generated imaging (if applicable), and answer any questions you may have.
After meeting with Dr. Mabrie, you will have an opportunity to speak with one of our Patient Coordinators to discuss fees, financing, and scheduling.
Surgical Consultations
To prepare for your surgical consultation, feel free to bring in photographs or images that best represent your goals. Additionally, explore our photo gallery for patients that may have had a similar surgery.
BOTOX Cosmetic and Dermafiller Consultations
BOTOX Cosmetic, Dysport™, and dermafillers are a safe, effective way to achieve a fresh, youthful appearance without surgery. If you're interested in one of these non-invasive treatments, the good news is that we can treat you the same day as your consultation. For this reason, it's important to stop taking Motrin or aspirin prior to your appointment, in case you decide to have your procedure on the same day.
